A fabricante de material esportivos Topper chamou o "Doutor Sócrates", um dos craques que passaram pela Seleção Brasileira, para rvender a saúde de seus produtos, no caso as suas chuteiras. Com elas, o meia-atacante marcou gol durante a Copa do Mundo da Espanha, em 1982
