Eles foram "reis do futebol brasileiro" e vestiram a jaqueta da "Turma da Colina". Ademir Menezes, o primeiro à esquerda, chegou a São Januário, em 1942, para se transformar no maior fenômeno de popularidade no país, pelos anos seguintes. Em eleições para premiar craques, tinha mais votos do que o presidente da república. Foi vascaíno até 1956, com um "passeiozinho", de pouco tempo, pelo Fluminense. À esquerda está Zizinho, considerado o maior craque dos nosso gramados, antes do surgimento dete rapazinho aí do centro da foto. Chamado de "Mester Ziza", fez duas partidas amistosas pelo Vasco, emprestado pelo Bangu, em 1956, para ter o prazer de voltar a jogar no mesmo time do amigo Ademir. Quanto ao carinha do meio, este é o "rei dos reis do futebol", o então garoto Pelé. Ademir e Zizinho fizeram questão de ir ao vestiário do Santos, no Maracanã, abraçá-lo, parababenizá-lo pela sua bola cheia.

Como os "cliks" não eram creditadas, na época, esta foi batida por Hélio Brito, Eufrosino Mello ou Osmundo Salles, os três fotógrados de então da "RE". A revista não cita, também, o dia do encontro, mas, muito provavelmente, pode ter sido em 9 de abrilde 1959, quando o "Peixe" foi ao Maracanã vencer o Botafogo, por 4 x 2, com um gol de Pelé, pelo Torneio Rio-São Paulo – contra o América, foi no RJ, mas Pelé não atuou. Diante de Fla, Flu e Vasco rolaram em São Paulo.
