   Vasco x América era o cartaz da primeira semifinal do Torneio de Apresentação do Campeonato Carioca Masculino Adulto de Basquetebol-956. Lá pelas tantas, um torcedor exaltado resolveu “matar” o árbitro, gerando tremenda balbúrdia para ser contido. Se tivesse ficado só nisso, menos mau. No entanto, o jogador americano Alfredinho mandou a bola contra a cara de “sua senhoria”, sobrando agitos, correrias e palavrões.

 Mesmo diante de tanta bagunça, o Vasco venceu e foi à final, contra o Flamengo, que bateu-lhe,  por 34x 25. Logo, ganhou aqui e apanhou ali.
