De Luci, o que a rapaziada poderia dizer, no mínimo, é que ela era fera, feríssima. Com a mesma garra que jogava vôlei, o fazia no basquete – como voleira, era flamenguista; basqueteira botafoguense. Aos 18 anos, era titular do selecionado carioca e já carregava no peito uma medalhinha de campeã brasileira. Grande Luci!
