Nesta revista, de 4 de agosto de 1956, o capitão vascaíno Hideraldo Luís Bellini cumprimenta o colega botafoguense Bauer, veterano da Copa do Mundo-1950, que estava encerrando a carreira no alvinegro carioca. Entre eles, o árbitro Mário Vianna, tirando o antigamente chamado toss, a escolha do lado para o qual o time atacaria. O encontro valeu pelo primeiro turno do Campeonato Carioca e foi disputado no Maracanã, em 29 de junho, diante de 50.134 pagantes, que não viram bola bater na rede: 0 x 0. O Vasco das Gama era treinado por Martim Francisco e teve: Carlos Alberto Cavalheiro, Paulinho de Almeida e Bellini (alinhamento que à imprensa denominava por trio final); Laerte, Orlando Peçanha e Coronel (a então linha média); Sabará, Livinho, Vavá, Válter Marciano e Pinga (no ataque).
