De acordo com o texto, Mylene era gandula há um ano e meio. Na época em que aparece nessa foto reproduzida do site citado acima, que informou ter sido clicada por Alexandre Cassiano, de www.extra.globo.com.br, ela tinha 19 de idade.
Com 1m68cm de altura e pesando 56 quilos, Mylene fazia pare de um grupo de 70 meninas gandulas, tendo sido recrutada por Temi Buarque, servidor do Vasco da Gama, há 37 temporadas, e seu vizinho no bairro de Jacarepaguá, na zona oeste carioca.
