A então Tchecoeslováquia – dividida, hoje, em República Tcheca e Eslováquia – trouxe ao Brasil, em 1957, uma das mais lindas atletas do basquetebol, Ludmila Lundakova, por sinal, considerada a "Raínha do II Mundial Feminino". Em janeiro de 1958, "Manchete Esportiva" encomendou ao jornalista Josef Volarik e ao fotógrafo Mohelsky Fafek um bela matéria com a musa. Eis aqui o resultado publicado pelo Nº 113 da revista carioca, publicado em 18 de janeiro daquele ano mágico para o esporte brasileiro.
