sua segunda "Galeria de Honra", uma seleção dos maiores feitos da
temporada, "consignados pelos ases e estrelas do Brasil".
De acordo com o texto da pesquisa escrita pelo repórter Ney Bianchi, a semanária explica ter aferido "as melhores performances" em competições regionais, nacionais e internacionais, durante "meticuloso trabalho" que consumiu toda a temporada. Adicionando mais três modalidades, em relação a 1955 – total de 33, incluindo a Rainha dos Jogos das Primavera –, a "ME" garantiu ter eliminado o espírito clubístico e considerado, unicamente, a atuação individual dos atletas.
